This gardening thing is becoming quite addictive as well as tasty.

We are so enjoying our new garden this year. Even though things are still only just getting started we do have some radishes that are doing great.

I was looking at them this morning and even pulled one to see how big or small it was. It was perfect, so I quickly snapped a picture, wiped the dirt off and ate it. Mmmm, best radish I ever had.

I planted the radishes and carrots together like my dad used to do on the farm when I was a kid. Not sure why that stuck in my mind. I didn’t usually pay attention.

He told me he planted the radishes and carrots together because the radishes would grow much faster than the carrots so when we pulled the radishes it gave the carrots lots of elbow room to grow and become bigger.
